Hi-Fi Radio

About the Band

HI-FI Radio

Hi-Fi Radio was founded by lead singer, guitarist and songwriter Christopher Dean Quiriconi (Chris Q) in 2016 Stratford CT. The Hi-Fi Radio sound Chris created was influenced by 70's and 80's arena rock acts, who's original recordings were first pressed on vinyl, eight-track, reel to reel and cassette. Hi-Fi Radio's debut stays true to these roots in their title track "Hi-Fi Radio", which pays homage to these vintage audio formats and denouncing the digital age with the lyric "What the hells an MP3!?".

The self titled "Hi-Fi Radio" debut was tracked and recorded by Chris in late 2016 and early 2017. The album was mixed by keyboardist Lydia Arachne (who Chris formerly played in a Connecticut based cover band with, Tap That). The album was released for worldwide distribution on Labor Day weekend 2017.

Hi-Fi Radio embarked on their "Hi-Fi Lets Roll Tour" in August 2017 and the band has been touring the Northeast USA ever since with dates in CT, MA, RI and NY supporting the album.

Stevie Bagz on Rhythm Guitar, Daniel Morgan Lynch on bass and Joshua Teter on drums finalized the Hi-Fi Radio lineup.

Hi-Fi Radio have three official music videos, one for the album title track "Hi-Fi Radio", an official lyric video for the "We are Rockstars" single and a music video for "ROWYCO" due for release summer 2018. The band then has plans to head back into the studio to record their sophomore album slated for release late 2018.
